Macquarie Communications Infrastructure Group Announces Supreme Court of NSW Approves Schemes

Original Announcement: Supreme Court of New South Wales approves MCG schemes

Macquarie Communications Infrastructure Group advised that the Supreme Court of NSW: approved the Macquarie Communications Infrastructure scheme of arrangement (MCIL Share Scheme); and granted the judicial advice in relation to the Macquarie Communications Infrastructure Trust scheme, as required by the scheme implementation agreement entered into between MCG and Canada Pension Plan Investment Board. The Supreme Court of Bermuda sanctioned the Macquarie MCG International (MMCGIL) scheme of arrangement. The orders of the Supreme Court of NSW in relation to the MCIL Share Scheme and the Trust Scheme will be lodged with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission on 7 July 2009, on the same day that the orders of the Supreme Court of Bermuda in relation to the MMCGIL Share Scheme will be lodged with the Registrar of Companies in Bermuda, at which time the Schemes will become effective.
