NEW DELHI, Sept 20 Asia Pulse - A group of non-resident Indian (NRI) software professionals have started an auto website to cater to the choosy Indian car buyer by providing detailed information about various vehicles and their advantages besides linkages with insurance firms and credit institutions.

"At a click of a mouse you can compare the advantages of your preferred car with other vehicles available in the market", said Binu T.G, the managing director of the new website "Auto India.Com".

Binu said though there were a few automobile portals already existing, autoindia.com "stands as a cutting edge website in automobile field".

Owned by NRIs from the US, autoindia.com is headquartered at Technopark at Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala.

According to the channel development manager of the website, Sony S Kumar, even before its official launch the website has been receiving 3000 hits a day. (PTI)
