Granted European Patent for Growth Agents
Stirling Products has received approval of its European patent application for use of R-salbutamol as a growth promoter in livestock. The patent covers the use of R-salbutamol in birds, cows, pigs, horses, sheep and farmed fish and in addition to R-salbutamol, also covers the active enantiomers of other beta agonists. Stirling has already received approval of a similar patent for use of enantiomers of beta agonists in the United States, Australia and New Zealand.
