Aricent Continues Global Expansion

Thursday September 13 9:00 AM

Aricent, a full-service, full-spectrum communications software company, today announced that it has expanded its operations in multiple locations. The expansion has been fueled by clients' demands for Aricent centers near their own facilities and Aricent's relentless search for superior communications software talent.

Aricent, which delivers software services and products to communications equipment manufacturers, device manufacturers and service providers worldwide, today made the following announcements:

-- DataLinx, a leading US communications software and solutions firm, has entered into an agreement to be acquired by Aricent,

-- Aricent has launched a 3G and 4G development and testing center in Mexico, and

-- Aricent has won Ukrtelecom as a new client, validating its strategy to address the high growth Eastern European and Central Asian telecom markets from its Ukraine development center.

As part of its strategic expansion, in the last year Aricent has launched new development centers in China and the United Kingdom while expanding its existing centers in India and Ukraine.

"Our continued expansion in the Americas, Europe and Asia allows us to be near our customers and work very closely with them in the same time zone," said Ash Bhardwaj, CEO, Aricent. "Aricent's growing footprint also allows us to hire outstanding communications software talent on a worldwide basis."
