Minerals Corporation Releases Resources Inventory Update for Skardon River Kaolin Friday October 19, 2007, 9:34 am Original Announcement: Resources Inventory Update for Skardon River Kaolin Minerals Corporation released a Resources Inventory Update for Skardon River Kaolin, Queensland. Resources have been estimated using data from over 600 reverse circulation holes, 13 diamond holes and 18 bulk sample pits as well as samples and mapping information from the mining pits. These data provide adequate geological coverage, with data spacings between 10 and 200m. Only about one third of the main mining lease has been drilled to date, and there is good potential for very large additional resources in the remainder of the lease. This drilling is not planned until these resources are required for production planning purposes. In addition, good quality bauxite has been intersected in exploration holes within the Skardon River titles, and further work is planned to investigate the economic potential of this bauxite.More information about MSC.AX |
