NTT DoCoMo USA's ''Namimail(R)'' software upgrade expands compatibility to the complete BlackBerry(R) line-up

NTT DoCoMo USA, Inc., the American subsidiary of NTT DoCoMo, Inc., Japan's largest mobile communications company, announces an enhancement to its Namimail(R) software which will allow for Japanese emailing to be available on more BlackBerry(R) devices.

Introduced in June 2005, Namimail is a software application which enables BlackBerry(R) devices to read and write Japanese. With the latest software upgrade, Namimail will be available for upload to all BlackBerry devices currently available in the market. The service is available to subscribers not only in the United States, but also in Europe and Asia.

Additional BlackBerry devices will be supported as follows:

From November 1st: BlackBerry(R) Curve(TM), 8800, 8820, 8830

From December 1st: BlackBerry(R) Pearl(TM), 7100 series
