Midwest Corporation confirmed new high grade massive-style iron ore mineralisation north of the Beebyn Prospect area in its Weld Range Iron Ore Project, which forms part of its Studies JV with Sinosteel Corporation. Extensive strike and encouraging widths of high grade massive-style iron ore mineralisation were intersected at the lenses, with results better than had been expected from limited historical drilling. Some of the more significant drill hole intercepts of iron ore mineralisation include grades up to 60% Fe and down hole intercept lengths of up to 66m. The Company completed 30 RC drill holes for 3,516m on the W30, W31 and W45 iron ore lenses, as part of its ongoing exploration drilling programmes at the Weld Range Iron Ore Project. Significant intersections include: WRRC0386 48m @ 58.8%Fe; WRRC0387 24m @ 60.8%Fe and 56m @ 58.8%Fe; and WRRC0391 64m @ 55.6%Fe.
