Ord River Resources Releases Drilling Results from Bolaven Plateau, Laos Friday November 23, 2007, 2:21 pm Original Announcement: Drilling Results from Bolaven Plateau laos Ord River Resources advised that very encouraging results have been received for 2,549 resource drilling samples taken in 131 drill holes drilled in the last field season on the Bolaven Plateau in Laos. Bauxite with median values for thickness of 5.75 m with 33.54% available Al2O3 (alumina) and 1.80% reactive SiO2 (silica) was found within the drilled area shown on the map. The values of available Al2O3 and reactive SiO2 are considered to be favourable and coupled with the thicknesses now found, can be favourably compared with the quality of the bauxite in the Darling Ranges of Western Australia that supports a series of mines and alumina refineries. The bauxite found ranged from a minimum of 0.5 m up to a maximum of 16.0 m in thickness.More information about ORD.AX |
