WSO2 Expands Management Team

WSO2, the open source SOA company, announced today the expansion of its management team to advance WSO2's product initiatives and services for the company's growing enterprise customer base.

-- Paul Fremantle, WSO2 co-founder, has been promoted to CTO from his previous role as vice president of technical sales. Fremantle, who led development of the groundbreaking WSO2 Enterprise Service Bus, will spearhead WSO2's overall product strategy.

-- Daniel Brum joins WSO2 as director of technical sales. Most recently as the technical director at MuleSource, Brum brings years of proven success in developing, delivering and supporting open source software. -- Samisa Abeysinge has been promoted to director of engineering from his previous role as a senior architect leading development of the WSO2 Web Services Frameworks for C and PHP.

-- Sanjaya Karunasena has been promoted to director of services from his former position as an enterprise architect in which he helped establish WSO2's overall engineering processes.
