Friday May 9, 2008, 6:45 pm
Shares in Western Australian gold producer Crescent Gold Ltd jumped on news it had repaid its $25 million project loan and gold loan with Investec Bank Australia Ltd. "The release from the loan facility frees the company to mine and process additional ore from minor pits and stock piles not part of the previously bank approved life of mine plan," Crescent said in a statement. Its shares closed five cents, or 22.73 per cent, higher at 27 cents. |
