Apollo Minerals provided its June 2009 quarterly activities report, reporting at Mt Oscar Magnetite Project, twenty six forward magnetic models and one 3D inversion model were generated to provide an estimate of the attitude and thickness of the magnetic units. At Commonwealth Hill, Western Plains Resources completed a total of 18 ground-magnetic and gravity traverses to test specific geological contacts prospective for direct shipping ore haematite and magnetite BIF iron mineralisation. Interpretation of the results suggests the presence of relatively thick magnetite rich horizons, probably BIF.
