Original Announcement: Directors Resolve No Dividend on Class A Shares

CMI reported that it has resolved not to declare a quarterly dividend to the holders of its Class A shares for the quarter ending 21 August 2009. This decision is due to the continuing economic conditions which have had a material adverse impact on the trading results across the Electrical and TJM divisions as indicated in announcements made by the company dated 24 December 2008, 27 February 2009 and 21 May 2009.
