Great Australian Resources Reports Sylvania's Application to Federal Court Successful

Original Announcement: GAU Takeover - Application to Federal Court Successful

Great Australian Resources reported that Sylvania Resources advised that the application lodged with the Federal Court for Sylvania may compulsorily acquire the remaining shares in Great Australian Resources has been successful and Sylvania will be proceeding with compulsory acquisition of the remaining Great Australian shares. In accordance with section 661B of the Act, Sylvania will lodge with ASIC and ASX a compulsory acquisition notice and notify those Great Australian shareholders who have not validly accepted Sylvania's offer.
