Strike Oil Reports CSG Resource Confirmation at Southern Cooper Project

Strike Oil advised that it continued to progress in the evaluation of its Southern Cooper Project (PEL 96 permit) in South Australia, with an independent review of the CSG potential of PEL 96 has recently been completed with technical experts MBA Petroleum Consultants of Brisbane confirming Strike Oil's Prospective CSG Resource in PEL 96 (Gas in Place, 4,950 PJ and Prospective Resources, 2,475 PJ). The company also reported that the next stage of evaluation of the Southern Cooper Project will be the drilling of three wells which have been designed with the assistance of MBA to core the coal bearing formations to enable further analytical tests to evaluate their CSG potential.
