Equatorial Coal to Re-Commence Trading and Raise $1.65m

Original Announcement: EQX to re-commence trading and raise $1.65m

Equatorial Coal announced that the Voluntary Suspension of EQX securities requested by Directors on 13 July 2009 will shortly be lifted. The company also advised that a Prospectus for a fully underwritten one for one non renounceable Rights Issue will be lodged on or about 18 September 2009. The Prospectus will raise $1.65m (before costs) and any shortfall from the issue will be placed by a group made up of Hartleys, Azure Capital and CPS Securities.
