Equatorial Coal provided its September 2009 quarterly activities report, reporting the company has appointed an Indonesian based organisation to assist in the area of debt collection. On 10 September 2009 the company announced plans to raise approximately $1.65m via a fully underwritten non-renounceable rights issue. The Prospectus was dispatched to shareholders on or around 2 October 2009 and the offer closed on 19 October 2009.
